Another of Development Consultancy’s main activities is supporting teams, departments, professions or whole organisations in identifying their priorities and then working together more effectively. Our reputation was originally founded on our facilitation services, but we also provide support to teams in difficulty, advice and support for organisational change programmes, consultancy in joint working, and access to learning away from your workplace.

 


360 DEGREE APPRAISAL & FEEDBACK

360 degree appraisals can make a positive and helpful contribution to self awareness, professional development and changed management practice.  However, carried out badly it can seriously backfire on respondents and subjects alike. We give advice to individuals and teams on how to devise and carry out 360 degree appraisal in a way that is affirming and developmental for those involved.  We can also assist in the design of the appraisal methodology, the independent distribution and collation of 360 forms and questionnaires, and can provide independent, confidential and anonymous feedback of results to participants.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

We all know that change is a constant feature of organisations and without it many enterprises will fall behind or even not survive.  However staff surveys regularly report change as being imposed,  misunderstood or poorly handled.  We can advise on how to establish effective change management programmes that work with your existing culture rather than against it, support events and training as part of your implementation plan, and help you think through the impact of change on your people and how to respond.

Team working is essential in all organisations, and whether you are a work team, a management team, a project team or a committee, it is vital that the team works effectively from the start.  We can help set up team purpose, structures, processes and dynamics at the beginning or we can come in and help teams that have lost their way, run into turbulence, or simply want to take stock of their progress and move on.
